About the event

Latinxhikers is a community dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in outdoor recreation through digital storytelling and community outreach.  ............................................................................... ATLANTA We’re excited to be celebrating National Public Lands day and Hispanic Heritage month by hosting a trail maintenance day at the Urban Food Forest at Browns Mill. If you live in the city, this is super close! It’s only a 10-20 min drive from downtown Atlanta area.  

We will begin our day at 9AM where we will be helping maintain the new trail being built. Trees Atlanta will guide us on where the trail needs maintaining.  

After our volunteer day, we will have La Elotera giving out some snacks! ............................................................................... All skill levels, all BIPOC & allies welcome.  

Location: Urban Food Forest at Browns Mill  [Ancestral lands of the Muscogee/Creek peoples]
